Everything below describes what is in the vial and what the lot record says. We do not describe what it is for.
A 3 mL sealed glass vial of sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol as the bacteriostatic agent — the benzyl alcohol is what makes the water bacteriostatic rather than plain sterile water.
It is the smaller of the two volumes we carry. It is the same water as the 10 mL, filled to a different volume, from its own lot, with its own certificate.
The lot shipping now is BAC3-D03. Genesis Bio Labs tested it on 9/20/2026 and issued document #4615621 on 10/6/2026, confirming identity by FTIR. Two rows on a 3 mL water certificate come back blank — purity and potency assay — and they stay blank here. There is no purity figure on water, and the lab has never returned a potency-assay value on a 3 mL lot. We print what the certificate prints and leave the rest empty rather than fill it in.
The lot code is printed on the vial. It is the only number you need to confirm that what you are holding is what was tested.

- 01What is actually in the vial?
- Sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol as the bacteriostatic agent. Nothing else is added.
- 02How do I check the certificate for the vial I received?
- Read the batch code printed on the vial — it will look like BAC3-D03. Enter it in the lookup on this site, or open the verify link for the lot. The certificate that opens carries its own document ID and test date. If those match the vial in your hand, you are looking at the record for your own lot. A batch code that is not ours returns No certificate found — the lookup is a real check, not a badge.
- 03Why is the 3 mL endotoxin figure blank when the 10 mL has one?
- Because the lab's published record for the 3 mL lots leaves that row empty, and the 10 mL record does not. Endotoxin is measured by USP <85> and reported per vial; on the current 10 mL lot, BAC10-D04, it reads 0.07 EU/vial. On BAC3-D03 the lab publishes no value, so neither do we. We would rather show you an empty field that matches the lab than a number you cannot check.
- 04What does the certificate actually confirm on this lot?
- On BAC3-D03: identity confirmed by FTIR, labeled potency 3 mL, tested 9/20/2026, document #4615621 issued 10/6/2026, and an overall result of Verified · Pass. Sterility is tested by USP <71> and endotoxins by USP <85>; both methods are listed on the certificate, which is reviewed and signed by two analysts before release. We quote the certificate and make no claim of our own beyond it.
- 05Will my vial always be lot BAC3-D03?
- No — lots turn over. When a new lot ships, this page and the lookup are updated to that lot before it leaves us, and the old certificate stays published. Prior 3 mL lots on file: BAC3-J13 and BAC3-260802. Always verify against the code on your own vial rather than the one on the page.
